I'm just giving it 5 starts because LukcyDee didn't

Just kidding, this is pretty neat though. Cool work

LuckyDee responds:

Thanks a bunch dude <3

Lol I think you basically remade my song from last year. Love jazzy/funky songs

AlbeGian responds:

Oh shit I'm really sorry, I completely forgot you had made jazz last year so I went for that this year myself. Yours was superior and actually sounded like slow jazz, and I just made it... albe-style I guess. Merry Christmas man and I'm glad you liked it!

I've always been interested to see what you come up with in contests since seeing your content in years past. I've always liked your take and style that you've brought to NG

SkankyMojo responds:

Cheers man, that's really lovely of you to say. You're someone I really respect musically, so that genuinely means a lot.

I am pleased to finally go toe-to-toe after all these years reviewing your content. No matter what happens, I feel honored

Uxvellda responds:

aww i also am honored 🥺 ... and a bit flattered lol

I like the sound design you got going on, and there's definitely a good focus on the groove. The highs are a tad tiring for me though, but I could see this working well in a club setting.

Sequenced responds:

i thought about the high end earlier and slept on it. ducked the highs on the master should be better now

Lovely melodies. Very cinematic, and I wouldn't be confident if I could identify which was a real recording if this was placed against live instruments. I like the inspirational part at the end. Very LOTR feel mixed with HTTRD

Everratic responds:

Thanks for the review! I was indeed inspired by LOTR, and also my opponent's round 2 song. I recall that you're a musician so it's relieving to know that this virtual orchestra sounds realistic to you. The truth is I could have spend many more hours improving the realism, but I had to stop at some point.

I like how free it feels. I can get a mix of feels out of it too, like I can imagine it being action style of music, or something involving flying, and it could work with both a triumphant or mourning style of setting.

Benji-G responds:

Thanks!

I'm normally not a rhodes guy, but now I want to. Love the feel of this

Zechnition responds:

thanks! layering a rhodes makes something an instant bleep bloop

I love the groovy funk style. Serious bop and I'm thoroughly enjoying this. The mix is super clean and the percussion especially feels crisp. Best of luck.

Jatmoz responds:

Thank you Spade, it means a lot. best of luck to you as well!

Lovely sound. I also really like the initial concept and you've executed it well.

Everratic responds:

Thanks for the review!

Do you like dubs? Do you like Wubs? I've got them in SPADES! Sprinkled in is some actual melodic content so you don't think I'm a hype junkie
