My review probably isn't needed as much. RealFaction hit some good points that I noticed as well. Not something we would expect from the art.

What I can say however is... it sounds spectacular. I find this inspirational and I can just imagine a giant mosh pit at whatever concert this would be at. Even though it may seem as a big room that is slightly empty, there is still some good work into the layering.

Thank you for the music

Thank you! :D I love the feedback. I'll keep this in mind when I start my next project.

I should at least leave some comments after 50+ plays and now ratings.

The bad:
It doesn't vary much so it doesn't grasp the listeners attention throughout the whole piece
Not much else otherwise

The good:
It's really well made. The reverb and delay devices are used correctly. I'm really digging the groove you set up with the kick and the bass combined (such as at 00:55). It's airy, thumpy and clean.

My compliments to your piece.

Thanks every feedback helps. :)

Solid. I like the rock drumset combined with the electronic instruments. The intro was well done but was a little long. I was hooked at about 01:08 when the dirty bass parts kicked in. For the first half of the song, it sounded like the snare didn't have enough volume on the high end to breath (I don't know how else to explain it, and I hope you understand what I'm saying). It could be possibly that everything was overpowering the snare a little bit, but I'm just being nit-picky so don't fret over it.

Everything from 02:38 onward is really good. The bass at 03:09 is sick. The way you've mastered and EQ'd that section is quite satisfying. Thumbs up from me

Wow, thanks for the detailed review!
Yes, the first part is very congested with instruments and snare was "strangled".
But I'm glad you like it!

I don't think I need to say anything more than what's been said by other people. But I'll say this.

Thank you for making this.

Thanks dude! I appreciate you taking the time to write a review :)

338 views and the score is still 5/5, and I believe that the trend should continue. Everything is tight, airy, light, and beautifully put together. Love your work.

Thanks dude

It's so nice. All I keep imagining over and over again is some anime girl just relaxing underneath a tree looking at the blue sunny sky. There's seagulls flying around since she's close to a beach, and there isn't a care in the world. It also slightly reminds me of the days when I was playing Maple Story years ago.

My only complaint is that the claps are too much and are a little distracting.

But - sigh - I like listening to this (as it's looping again).

Inspirational

Geoplex responds:

Haha, thanks. I'm not sure about the claps, this is a fairly weak mix actually so they might be too much comparatively, but i feel so obligated to conform to the loud percussion that dominates the EDM genres.

You might be right, though :P

Hey I here you and share the same problem with university studies. My only complaint I have about the song so far is that the loop doesn't feel completely natural. I don't know how to describe it other than that. Are you using a real bass and drums? They sound good.

Solid 4 stars in my opinion.

empire00 responds:

Real bass with artificial drums (a.k.a. samples).

I like this piece. I like how you're organizing your harmonies into the minor chords and it sounds great. With the clipping I suggest two things (since I'm assuming you're using FL).

(1) Using the Fruity Limiter is great at stopping the clicking if you know how to use it (Youtube helps a lot with this).
(2) I also suggesting adding each of your instrument into the mixer to control the volume a bit (instruments, tracks, plugins, generators... I haven't figured out what to call them). Also in the mixer is where you can add a lot of different types of FX as well.

I'm still trying to figure out all of the in's-and-out's to FL as well. I've been using it for about a year now and I'm still finding out new Keyboard shortcuts and other applications that really make the music pop.

Don't take the criticism too hard though, I gave you a 4 and that shows that I like how this piece is going.

ikitty2 responds:

Thank you so much for your advice :) I'll definitely be checking out how to use the Fruity Limiter since the clicking has always been a problem I've had at some point or another and I never knew how to fix it. I've also tried playing with the mixer before, but wasn't very successful with it so I'll play around with that some more, too. Again, thank you for your help, it's really great to get some useful info and I'm glad you took the time to share it with me. :) I'll keep working on improving my music so please come back and feel free to critique any new stuff I post in the future.

I was surprised at about 0:48. I like what you've done with this. However somewhere in the 1:30 section it sounds like a couple of the kicks are just slightly off time with each other and playing twice. Either that or it's clipping. Either way this is a good song to listen to and I think you've done a good job with it.

Rock on

Kreyowitz responds:

Hmmm I was listening to that section, and I think I can hear what you are talking about, i'll have to go and see if I can fix that, because I know it's not off, but clipping sounds VERY plausible.

Thank you for the Review, it is very much appreciated, and I wish you well, good sir.

Do you like dubs? Do you like Wubs? I've got them in SPADES! Sprinkled in is some actual melodic content so you don't think I'm a hype junkie
